Intro to Digital Photography I
You would be surprised at what your camera can do! You'll be even more surprised at how much you really don't know about what your camera can do.
This workshop is taught in three (3) parts and will help you cover the basics of digital photography. We will review your camera's controls and functions. We will also discuss how great images are created using three main features: ISO, Aperture (f/stop), and Shutter speed. *You are required to bring your digital camera and manual to this class.
Create beautiful floral photos
Have you tried to create great floral photos only to be disappointed that they didn't turn out the way you pictured in your head? Interested in learning how to create photos that you can actually frame and put on your wall?
This workshop is for those who are interested in learning how to create great photos of flowers. We will review the three essential ingredients in creating great photos and then we will review the macro setting on your camera. This class will require that you have a tripod. Flowers will be provided for this class for shooting purposes.

Intro to Digital Photography II
Now that you have a few of the basics down about digital photography. This is Part 2 in the Introduction series. We will continue learning all of the elements required to take a great image.
In this workshop we will review the three most important ingredients needed to get a great photo (ISO/Aperture/Shutter Speed). We will also discuss metering your images using your in-camera metering function and white balancing (what it is and why it's necessary). *You are required to bring your digital camera and manual to this class.
Intro to Digital Photography III
This workshop is the final in a three (3) part series and will help you learn how to properly compose your images, learn various lighting techniques to create great photos, when and how to use your flash. *You are required to bring your digital camera and manual to this class.
Getting better photos of your kids

Have you had your camera set and ready to go but you still miss the shot of little Johnny doing something special. We will teach you the tips and tricks to getting the great shots of your kids and why saying "cheese" is cheesy.
This workshop is going to be packed with lots of information on ways to get great photos of your children. This will be a Three Hour class and will require that you already have a working knowledge of how your camera works.
Learning to Shoot in Low Light
Many people make the mistake in putting their cameras away when the sun goes down and they miss the golden moments of creating a great image
This workshop is for those who are interested in learning how to create photos at night. An understanding of ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed are necessary to understanding this session. This is a more advanced class. This class will require that you have a tripod. Flowers will be provided for this class for shooting purposes.
Understanding Digital Photography Basics
In order to understand why you're not getting what you want, you need to understand the basics of photography so that you can get the images you are looking for.
This free 1-hour session will be provided at various times throughout the year to help newcomers to photography understand the science behind this art form. Plus, you'll receive a few tips and tricks to help you understand how to get better images. There is no charge for this session but you will still need to register for the session on our registration page.
Creating great pictures and digital photo albums
This is a fun and exciting session for those of you who love to tell a story with your images. If you are a scrapbooker who is used to traditional scrapbooking, you're going to love this session of learning to create a digital album with your images. While you're at it, why not get the opportunity to also receive some valuable tips to creating better photos.
This workshop is for those who are not only interested in learning how to create better photos, but will also learn about the great features of creating digital albums to tell their stories. This session is perfect for vacationers, moms, grandmoms, even teachers!
